Wedo are one of the world's leading candle wick manufacturers and the LX series of wicks are one of the simplest, yet most popular wick types. Widely regarded as some of the best wicks available on the market, these are used extensively by some of Europe's and USA's largest candle manufacturers.

LX wicks are suitable for paraffin container candles, votives and pillar candles, the LX wick is pure cotton with no core. Compared to other wicks, this wick burns with a tighter controlled flame that makes it the best wick for paraffin waxes. Great for paraffin containers, pillars and votives, the consistent flame helps ensure that glass containers don't overheat on one side and that pillars don't 'tunnel' or leak out the side of the candle. These wicks are pre-cut to 110 mm, pre-waxed and are already fitted with a 15mm metal sustainer (tab), ready to be placed into your candle container.

Wedo LX wick maintains a slight curl when burning. The curl moves the tip of the wick into the hottest part of the flame, which helps to minimize or eliminate carbon buildup (mushrooming), reduce smoking, and provide a 'self-trimming' effect, which creates a very stable and consistent flame. Very effective and recommended in low melt paraffin container waxes, will also work in natural waxes but when used in natural wax it is common that you have to use a lot larger size than you would in paraffin wax.
